Living Learning Groups

Living Learning Groups (LLGs) provide a year-long opportunity for new students to enjoy a small collaborative and social cohort.
The LLG initiative is a weekly program that (a) supports student's academic experience and development, (b) engages them in activities that will help them get to know one another, and (c) educates them on campus offices and resources and important issues in our community. Educational sessions for students will address topics of diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, time management and organizational skills, and team building.
Each LLG is supported by two undergraduate student leaders called Frosh Camp Counselors (FCCs), one graduate student Resident Associate (RA), and one Faculty Advisor. Cohorts have been organized carefully from student-reported academic and personal preferences and habits, as well as home time zones. This model is designed to enable a transition to supportive residential communities if we were to return to campus.
